There is a PayPal transaction fee of 1.999% of the donated amount. PayPal will prompt you to choose whether to pay the fee or not. To help THP, we hope you will choose to pay the tiny fee. You don’t have to; but if you choose not to, the total amount of your donation for your tax records will reflect the difference between the donation and the fee. For example, a $100 donation will invoke an $3.48 fee; if you choose not to pay the tiny fee, the donation you report for taxes will be $96.52.
