Education:

It is part of THP’s mission to help educate the community in the craft of acting. We provide acting classes for youth and beginning adult actors, and workspace for veteran actors.

While we can provide instruction, it is only the individual who can discover their place in acting. Here we encourage actors to be responsible for their own learning, for mastering their craft, while studying with others and sharing resources. We encourage self-study, self-discovery, and self-mastery. We teach that it is not the job of the actor to be great, but to do their job to the best of their ability; for in the pursuit of doing a good job, greatness is occasionally released.

Fundraiser and Pop-up Performances:

THP has rights to a western musical melodrama series called Good Measures, created by its founder, PJ Thiessen. The 90-minute play serves as a venue for local charities to raise funds and share information about their causes.

Also, using select characters from its Good Measures series THP actors create 15-minute Pop-Up Performances to promote awareness of local businesses and organizations that benefit and strengthen the community.
